300 Sl Electric Car Silver
Description
300 Sl Electric Car Silver
Children’s electric-powered car. Simple replica of 300 SL Roadster. At the Geneva Motor Show in March 1957, Mercedes-Benz presented the successor to the Gullwing coupé, a roadster which, like its predecessor, came about on the initiative of Max Hoffman. For some time Hoffman had been urging the company to produce an open-top version of the 300 SL as he felt that this would sell well in the US market. Technically speaking, the Roadster was broadly similar to the Coupé: modification to the side sections of the tubular space frame made it possible to reduce the sill height enough to accommodate normal doors. 300 SL Roadster, children’s electric-powered car. Various colours. Steel chassis. Accurate reproduction of bumpers, headlamps and radiator. With 6 volt battery and top speed of around 4 km/h. Pedal for braking and accelerating. Gearshift for forward and reverse. Ages 3 to 5. Size: 122 x 52 x 42 cm. By TT Toys Toys for Mercedes-Benz.
