Mercedes Brake Fluid Dot 4 (1L)

The Mercedes-Benz brake fluid DOT4 PLUS meets the specifications for DOT 4 as per ISO4925, SAE J1704 and FMVSS16. Approved Mercedes operating fluid. Can be mixed with existing brake fluids. Not suitable for vehicles with central hydraulics with a mineral oil base.

This is the brake fluid used and recommended for all of the classic Mercedes-Benz models, including W186 Type 300, 300b, and 300c; W189 300d; 300SL Gullwing and Roadster; 190SL; and Ponton and Fintail models. Suitable for both drum and disc brake systems. 

Note:

DO NOT mix with DOT5 silicone brake fluid, or use this fluid in a brake system previously filled with DOT5 silicone brake fluid.
